Primarily, the products involved in this dynamic endeavor are derived from crude oil distillates. These distillates manifest in the form of fuel oils, the most prevalent choice, and gasoil, each serving distinct purposes in the maritime domain. The former, colloquially referred to as “dirty,” encompasses a range of heavier, less refined fuel oils suitable for various types of marine engines. On the other hand, the latter, known as “clean,” denotes a more refined and purified form of fuel, specifically designed for enhanced efficiency and environmental considerations.
These crucial products find their origin in refineries or specialized stocking deposits strategically positioned to meet the demands of maritime traffic.
